Portals & Doors

 

The world of recycling has brought me to newer surfaces than ever.  The Portals and Doors series are still opening up to me.  Windows are not exempt.  There are many who paint on doors but I feel it is my responsibility to go further.  Where there is a hollow interior let it be filled with the secrets or memoirs or insights we need.  Sliding doors and painted silhouettes are the intersection of the public art ideas I have for future in the form of studies within the community audience.
